Brevis ZK Airdrop Qualification - Tutorial

Brevis, a zero-knowledge (ZK) coprocessor for verifiable off-chain computation, has launched a points farming campaign called the Brevis Proving Grounds to determine eligibility and allocation for its future token distribution. Participants earn Brevis Sparks, which will serve as the primary criteria for the token airdrop at the Token Generation Event (TGE).

The campaign is structured in phases, moving from basic community building to complex on-chain protocol interaction.

Phase 2: Field Operations (On-Chain Protocol Interaction)


This phase is considered the most significant for airdrop allocation as it rewards genuine usage of protocols powered by Brevis's ZK infrastructure.

  • Real Protocol Interaction: Tasks involve interacting with live, production protocols across multiple chains (e.g., PancakeSwap, Usual Money, Linea, MetaMask, Kaito, etc.).

  • Sparks Scale with Usage: Unlike Phase 1's fixed rewards, Phase 2 Sparks often scale with actual protocol interaction and value. For example, locking a higher amount of specific tokens or accruing more rewards on a partner protocol can lead to higher Spark reward tiers (e.g., up to 15,000 Sparks).

  • Example Tasks: Completing transactions on partner DEXs that offer personalized fees verified by Brevis, or participating in ZK-verified reward programs on lending protocols.

  • The 'Pawsitive' Role: Completing all on-chain tasks and reaching at least Tier 1 for each task on the Proving Grounds grants the 'Pawsitive' Discord role, which is a key indicator of contribution.


General Qualification Rules


  • Connection: Must connect a crypto wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Rabby), and link X (Twitter) and Discord accounts on the Proving Grounds dashboard.

  • Anti-Sybil Measures: Brevis employs strong anti-Sybil policies to filter out bots and inauthentic participants. Only one X and Discord account is permitted per wallet address.

  • No Cap: There is no cap on the total number of Sparks a user can earn.


2. Brevis and Kaito InfoFi Campaign (Privacy-Preserving InfoFi)


Brevis and Kaito have established a direct partnership to integrate zero-knowledge proofs into Kaito's Information Finance (InfoFi) system, specifically to enhance the rewards process on the Kaito Yapper Leaderboard.


The Joint InfoFi Mechanism


The collaboration creates a privacy-preserving social rewards system that rewards users based on both social contribution and on-chain history.

  1. Stage 1: Social Contribution (Kaito Yaps):

    • Participants are ranked on the Kaito Yapper Leaderboard based on their Mindshare score.

    • Mindshare is earned by creating and engaging in high-quality, relevant content about ZK technology and Brevis, rather than superficial engagement metrics.

  2. Stage 2: On-Chain Verification (Brevis ZK Proofs):

    • ZK Utility: Brevis's ZK technology is used to generate a cryptographic proof that confirms the user meets certain criteria (e.g., being a long-term holder, an early adopter, or an active DeFi user) without revealing their actual wallet address or full transaction history to Kaito, Brevis, or the public.

    • Multiplier Application: This ZK-verified credential grants a bonus multiplier to the user's score, ensuring that knowledgeable and committed participants are rewarded fairly while maintaining complete privacy.

In essence, the Brevis Proving Grounds includes Kaito as a partner where users can earn Sparks for social activity (Phase 1/General Tasks), and Kaito utilizes Brevis's ZK technology to securely verify the on-chain credentials of its users for InfoFi leaderboard bonuses.
